A.  Vision

Cianjur ( which is ) Smarter, Healthier, More prosperous and Akhlakul Karimah based.

B.  Mission

  1. Making quality education more accessible to the people

  2. Improving community health standard

  3. Encouraging the economic development based on locally available potential

  4. Guiding the people better morally and spiritually towards the good citizenship and community membership based on the akhlakul karimah principle.

Mission 1 : Making quality education more accessible to the people.

The goals to be achieved are is follows:

  • The increased schooling duration rate from 6,42 in 2005 to the minimum 9 in 2011

  • The improved literacy rate from 97,55 in 2005 to 100 in 2011

  • The improved quality of the akhlakul karimah based education

  • The better and more developed local culture and arts

The strategic moves to be made are as follows:

  • Improving the education level of the community by accelerating the realization of the 9 year compulsory schooling.

  • Increasing the number of community Learning Activity Centers ( PKBM ) and at the same time, improving their quality

  • Encouraging the community participation in the field of ( public ) education and religious education

  • Improving the quality of both formal and non- formal education

  • Allocating relevant fund in order to improve the educational management system

  • Improving educational facilities and infrastructure for elementary, secondary and tertiary education

Mission 2 : Improving community health standard

The goals to be achieved are as follows:

  • The improved life expectancy age ( UHH ) from 65,33 in 2005 ot 67,50 in 2011

  • The decreased infant mortality rate ( AKB ) from 52,40 per 1000 births in 2005 to 48,00 per 1000 births in 2011

  • The decreased maternal mortality rate from 362 per 100.000 deliveries in 2005 to 353 per 100.000 deliveries in 2011

  • The declined birth rate from 2,54 in 2005 to 2,20 in 2011

The strategic moves to be made are as follows:

  • Furthering the role of both the integrated health service post ( posyandu ) and the community health centre ( puskesmas ) in developing community health

  • Empowering and improving the facilities and infrastructure related to health maintenance such as the increased number of Regional Public Hospitals ( RSUD ) and their quality of service

  • Increasing the number of medical workers and improving their quality

  • Rendering health service and security to the poor

  • Improving environmental health and healthy life style

  • Improving basic health service in both quantity and quality

  • Optimizing health service and improving medical workers in both quantity and quality

  • Empowering the community through the dissemination of health information

  • Encouraging the community participation in family planning and reproduction health program

Mission 3 : Encouraging the economic development based on locally available potential

The goal to achieved is the increased economic growth rate ( LPE ) from 3,82 in 2005 to 4,66 in 2011.

The strategic moves to be made are as follows :

  • Developing cooperatives and small and middle business entrepreneurship

  • Creating conducive investment climate

  • Empowering and guiding farmers and fishermen

  • Improving job opportunities and the protection of workers

  • Managing tourism areas better and guiding anyone concerned with this sector to better performance

  • Strengthening economic institutions related to agriculture and tourism

  • Managing the use of space and landscape

  • Improving the quality of regional transportation service

  • Improving the quality of regional infrastructure

  • Encouraging the intensification and extension of regional revenue

Mission 4 : Guiding the people better morally and spiritually towards the good citizenship and community membership based on the akhlakul karimah principle

The goals to be achieved :

  • Improving the akhlakul karimah based life that extols god the almighty by performing social and ritual service better and better

  • Improving the multi ethnic and religions community life

The strategic moves to be made are as follows:

  • Guiding further the people towards more meaningful and contextual religions life

  • Encouraging more dialogue forum between religious figures

  • Encouraging religious guidance in the official and communal levels

  • Encouraging and intensifying better relationship between the legislative and the executive
