The Regency of Cianjur is one of the regions in west java province with the population of 2,125,023
consisting of 1,100,412 males and 1,024,611 females. The regency of Cianjur with the total area of 350,148 hectares
is strategically positioned between the national capital of jakarta and the provincial capital of Bandung and
administravely composed of 30 sub districts, 388 villages and 6 kelurahan or wards. The incumbent
regent is Mr. Drs. H. Tjetjep Muchtar Soleh, M.M. The regency of Bogor and Purwakarta, west by the regency of Sukabumi,

pandan wangi rice is confined to the subdistrict of Warungkondang, Cugenang and some places around the sub district
of Cianjur.
